Focus and Scope
The Ghana Mining Journal (GMJ) is a publication which focuses on the exchange of ideas, dissemination of information and promotion of knowledge arising out of research pertinent to the effective and sustainable exploitation of mineral resources particularly in Ghana and the world at large. Original contributions in the following broad areas are suitable for publication in the Ghana Mining Journal: Geomatics; Geology and Mineral Exploration; Mining and Quarrying; Geo-mechanics and Groundwater Studies; Petroleum Engineering; Mineral Processing, Metallurgy and Material Science; Mineral Economics, Financial Evaluation and Risk Assessment; Mineral Policies and Governance; Environmental Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility Issues; Information and Communication Technology; Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering; Mathematical Modelling; Mining Education, Communication Skills and Entrepreneurship Issues.
