What is a Special Issue?
A Special Issue is a curated set of peer-reviewed papers centred on a particular research theme aligned with the journal’s aims and scope. Special Issues provide an excellent platform to advance emerging research areas and encourage scholarly collaboration.
Role as a Lead Guest Editor
To propose a Special Issue, you will assume the role of Lead Guest Editor. If multiple Guest Editors are involved, one must be designated as the lead. The Lead Guest Editor should possess established expertise in the Special Issue's subject area. Key responsibilities include defining the issue’s scope, assembling a qualified editorial team, inviting potential contributors, and managing the peer-review process.
