Publishing Ethics
It is envisaged that authors know what constitutes scientific fraud and appreciate that the consequences of fraud are extremely harsh. Fraud comes in the form of fabrication, making up data or lying about procedures, falsification, manipulating data to obtain a desired outcome and plagiarism (taking credit for someones work). The Editorial Board assumes no responsibility for statements made or opinions expressed by authors who should ensure that all submitted papers have resulted from their own original work. If scientific fraud is detected, the paper will be formally retracted from the GMJ. Papers submitted to GMJ should be original and must not have been published elsewhere.
